Finding the perfect match

We believe that the right to have children should be available to anyone, regardless of age, sex, ethnicity, marital status, nationality or sexual orientation.

We understand the process can be overwhelming, so here are some of our frequently asked questions:

How long does the process take?

Once you select an egg donor, the process takes between two to three months. The timeline depends, to some extent, on the donor’s cycle and schedule. Our agency will do everything we can do on our end to expedite the process and schedule a timely egg retrieval procedure.

Will my personal information remain confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality is of great concern to our donors and recipients alike. Los Angeles Egg Donation Center will not reveal any of your personal information to the egg donor. Privacy is one of our priorities.

What is the legal arrangement with my egg donor?

We will provide you with a contract prepared by our staff attorney who specializes in third party reproductive law. We will refer your egg donor to another lawyer who will review the agreement with her. This contract protects both you and your donor’s best interests and is a critical component in the egg donation process. Attorney’s fees are billed separately from the egg donation agency fee and paid directly to your attorney.

The Process

When you communicate to us your egg donor, your Client Services representative will contact you and confirm, with a photo and in writing, your chosen donor. We will then send you a packet of information, including a contract with our agency for you to sign and return to us either by fax or email. We will also need a credit card authorization form signed by you.

When we have received your signed contract and we have processed the egg donation agency fee, you will hear from our Director of Client Services,. She will have your donor immediately begin the medical evaluation. We will prepare a tailor-made contract for you and will answer any legal questions you may have. If you want to use another attorney, we can give you a list of lawyers who specialize in third party reproductive law. We will also ensure that your donor has a lawyer to represent her in negotiating the agreement. The egg donation legal process takes 1-2 weeks normally.

Your medical cycle begins after we have received a signed agreement between you and your egg donor and we have clearance from your physician.
